A breakdown of the five stages includes:
- Stage 1: Designed for daily driven vehicles with typical bolt-ons. It features an OE-quality organic disc and mildly increased clamp load, boosting torque capacity by 15%-20% with a smooth engagement.
- Stage 2: Ideal for street use, showroom stock, or touring cars. This dual-friction disc uses a steel-backed Kevlar facing on the pressure plate side and organic on the flywheel side, increasing torque capacity by up to 40% over OE.
- Stage 3: Geared toward occasional track days and mild forced induction setups. It uses a full steel-backed, segmented Kevlar disc and modified pressure plate, which improves torque capacity by 40%-60%.
- Stage 4: Bully's best seller for aggressive shifting, track use, and forced induction. It pairs a modified pressure plate with a 4 or 6-puck sprung ceramic disc, yielding an 80%-100% increase in torque capacity.
- Stage 5: A dedicated race and drag clutch. This utilizes an un-sprung 3 or 4-puck ceramic disc for extreme high-temperature resistance, direct feedback, and maximum torque transfer.
