The Radium Engineering Direct Mount Fuel Pulse Damper (FPD) is engineered to eliminate fuel pressure oscillations and hydraulic pulses generated by high-flow fuel injectors opening and closing rapidly. By stabilizing fuel rail pressure, it prevents lean spikes and irregular AFRs across all cylinders for improved engine safety and smoother tuning.
Features & Benefits:
- 360° Swivel Fitting: Features Radium's updated swivel design, allowing the reference port to be clocked in any direction after installation.
- Vacuum/Boost Referenced: Equipped with a 1/8" NPT vacuum/boost reference port to maintain proper diaphragm positioning under high boost when using a 1:1 rising-rate fuel pressure regulator.
- Alternative Spring Rates: Available in FPD-R (Range: 40-70 PSI static) with compact green top, or FPD-XR (Extra Range: 40-105 PSI static) with heavy-duty black top.
- Fuel Compatibility: Safe for use with all fuel types including pump gasoline, race fuel, and E85 ethanol.
Available Configurations:
- 8AN ORB: Threads directly into female 8AN ORB rail ports or adapter housings.
- 3/8" NPT: Male pipe thread fitting for fuel rails with NPT ports.
