This catch can kit installs in the LH rear wheel well using a bespoke CNC machined bracket. The kit includes all necessary parts that allow it to be plumbed into the crankcase system in two different configurations; vent to atmosphere and vent to engine. 

VENT TO ATMOSPHERE (VTA)

Out of the box, the competition catch can is configured to VTA. Crankcase gasses enter the catch can side port and then escape to atmosphere out through the top of the catch can. Residual oil from the crankcase gasses is collected in the catch can reservoir. NOTE: The top vent of the catch can, being open to atmosphere, may be prone to collecting dirt and debris.

VENT TO ENGINE (VTE)

This configuration creates a closed system by returning the filtered air back into the engine's intake system. This configuration is recommended if the vehicle is frequently slinging mud, water and sand in the area of the oil catch can. A different catch can top plate is included with the kit that provides threaded outlet ports. Additional hose and fittings are also included to complete the installation.
